All the lamps fans water pump etc still operate on 12 volts dc just that the dc electricity is provided by the converter instead of the batteries while plugged in.
Rv lights flickering when plugged in.
When you are plugged into shore power a converter changes the 120 vac to 12 vdc.
We could ve used our needle nose pliers to pull out the fuses and see if they were bad.
If the fluctuating did not stop when you turned off the converter unplugged shore power it is on the 12v side of the house.
If not it s the converter.
Teriyaki on 09 29 10 07 31pm we were out this weekend and after starting the generator friday evening the 12 volt lights in the th kept flickering.
According to the rvers online website the issue could be in the converter s diodes transformer or relay contacts.
If the lights go dim then there is an issue with the converter.
So plug shore power back in and have a 120v light plugged into an outlet.
Sometimes it also charges the 12 v battery and in other cases there is a separate battery charger.
